This set of tuners was removed from a 1980s Tokai ST-80 model and is in good vintage condition.
They show natural signs of age, such as patina, oxidation, and light surface wear—consistent with decades of use.
All six tuners turn smoothly, hold tension properly, and remain fully functional.
Surprisingly, these vintage tuners feature solid brass shafts — a premium feature rarely seen, even on modern reissues.
Despite being manufactured over 40 years ago, this detail was overlooked in many contemporary reproductions, making these an exceptional example of early MIJ craftsmanship.
