A clean and balanced 1960s dress watch from IWC, housed in an 18k solid gold Swiss-made case. The proportions are classic and understated, with a 35mm diameter and sharply curved lugs that sit very flat to the wrist

Powered by the Calibre 853 automatic movement, a reliable and well-regarded part of IWC’s mid-century mechanical range. This piece has been fully serviced in November 2024, with a new hairspring and balance installed.

The original dial shows aging on the case, with applied baton markers, alpha hands, and a simple minute track. Crystal is clear with no major scratches. All components are original and well-preserved. Case condition is consistent with age. The dial has been professionally cleaned and presents almost brand new.

The caseback features crisp engravings with correct gold hallmarks and serial markings. Some dings and marks on the caseback as seen in photos, however the case presents in good condition with no major marks.
