Up for auction is a beautiful cover sent from the Marcus prison camp at Salzburg Austria. The addressee is Maria Preisinger from Theodor Preisinger, he was an accused war criminal held in a prison camp run by the US Army, it served as an internment camp for suspected war criminals awaiting trial or release.

Priced to sell. Postmarked in October 7, 1946. Exceptionally rare postal history item.
