This is a nicely detailed Antique Thai Medical Drawing (Samut Khoi) on handmade paper.  This delicate piece folds in half and shows a single Character illustration.  There is Thai script on each side of the illustration that describes particular parts of the human body.  There is also full page Thai script on the back of the illustration  I estimate the manuscript dates from the early 1900’s. This Samut Khoi was purchased by my father and myself in Bangkok in the early 1980's when he owned an antique shop in Penang, Malaysia.  We admired these drawings and actively collected them.  Once mounted, matted and framed this illustration would be a wonderful conversation piece.  Please note the detailed Condition Description referenced above & below.
