Basic Assembly Guide – Hero Jet Gold 22" Bicycle

1. Unboxing

  • Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.

  • You should have: frame, front wheel (if detached), handlebar, seat, pedals, and small accessories.


2. Install the Handlebar

  • Insert the handlebar stem into the front fork tube.

  • Align it so it is straight with the front wheel.

  • Tighten the stem bolt using an Allen key or spanner.


3. Attach the Seat (Saddle)

  • Insert the seat post into the frame seat tube.

  • Adjust the height as needed.

  • Tighten the seat clamp bolt firmly.


4. Install the Pedals

  • Check for "L" (left) and "R" (right) markings on the pedals.

  • Right pedal: tighten clockwise

  • Left pedal: tighten anti-clockwise (reverse thread)

  • Use a pedal wrench or 15 mm spanner to tighten securely.


5. Install the Front Wheel (if not pre-installed)

  • Place the front wheel into the fork dropouts.

  • Secure it using axle nuts and a spanner.

  • Make sure it is centered and spins freely.


6. Check and Adjust Brakes

  • Squeeze the brake levers to test the brake pads' contact with the rims.

  • Adjust brake rods and levers if needed for proper alignment and tension.


7. Final Check

  • Tighten all nuts and bolts: handlebar, pedals, wheels, seat.

  • Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure.

  • Do a short test ride and ensure the bike is safe and comfortable.
