If you seek 100% safety in the United States (120V AC 60 Hz), we recommend using a transformer.
Among our customers, there are those who use this product within the United States at 120V without a transformer. In fact, we have received several reports from users who say that they have used the FR301-81 at 120V without any problems. If you decide to use it at 120V, please do so at your own risk.
