1974 Kansas City Scouts 1st NHL Game Leafs Ticket Stub - Wilf Paiement NHL Debut
October 9th, 1974 in Toronto at Maple Leafs Gardens marked the first ever regular season game for the now-log-defunct Kansas City Scouts franchise. Wilf Paiement, their #1 draft pick, skated in his debut game on this date and he would stay with the Scouts for both of their seasons before moving on to the Rockies with the rest of the team... and the Rockies eventually became the current New Jersey Devils. Interestingly, he would spend some time playing for the Leafs as well... while wearing the number 99! This is a double-whammy debut stub for the Scouts and for Paiement. Wilf played in over 900 NHL games and recorded more than 800 points and 1700-plus PIM.
