The fine item you are considering is an original John Stanford Western Painting. This beautiful painting measures 24" x 20" and the frame measures 31" x 28".  When held at a side angle to catch glare, you can see a line across part of the painting that's not visible when looking at it normally. It looks like the varnish was scratched but didn't go through to the paint or more likely, something rubbed along the back of the canvas as the paint is undisturbed.
