Mae Johnson was a California artist based in the town of Atascadero in central California near the coastal area of Morro Bay. Her preferred medium was oil on canvas and she specialized in masterful impressionistic floral paintings reminiscent of the style of the old masters. She was active from the 1940s-1980s. |
