Franciscan Desert Rose necklace
from vintage chards from broken dishes
Pretty serenity face
Made in USA by Susan Sorrentino
Vintage art to wear. Beautiful patter with pink flowers
When the ground-breaking Desert Rose pattern by Franciscan premiered in 1941, it was a distinctly American contrast to traditional European bone china. The gamble paid off - Desert Rose would go on to become one of the largest selling casual tableware patterns in the history of dinnerware!
Hand painted, so each piece varies in color slightly, design details and the cream color back ground glaze also has variations depending on age.
The long one measures 5.5 x 3"
chain 28" long
