We offer the inaugural first edition of the prestigious Yale University architectural review magazine, Perspecta 1, The Yale Architectural Journal, Summer 1952.
The journal begins with a foreword by George Howe, with articles on Frank Lloyd Wright, Paul Rudolph, Philip Johnson and Buckminster Fuller and additional articles written by Henry-Russel Hithcock, Vincent J. Scully, Jr., Fello Atkinson, and Henry Reed, Jr.
In gently used condition with the body of the magazine separated from the cover and spine. Three staples hold the pages intact. Owner's signature on inside cover upper left corner.

James Bright studied architecture at The University of Texas from 1945 until 1949. After graduating, he practiced architecture in San Antonio, Texas with O'Neil Ford. In 1951 Mr. Bright practiced architecture in Corpus Christi, Texas for fifty years.
