At this point in time, the editor of that newspaper was British journalist, publisher and politician C. P. Scott.
Illustrated with two frontispiece maps, and with vignette and full page illustrations throughout.
A fascinating history of New Zealand from American professor, social reformer, and public intellectual Frank Parsons, in which he emphasises discussion of the industrial evolution of the islands, and its social developments.

CONDITION
In the publisher’s original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with a touch of fading towards head of front board. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Inscription and stamps to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright, with only the odd handling mark.
