We offer a satin glass vase with an up and down folded ruffled rim above a lobed body resting on a smooth foot. The ombre glass is blue fading to cream cased by clear glass and decorated with delicate gilt rococo enameling and flowers. The vase is hand blown with a roughened pontil mark.
The vase dates to the late nineteenth century. Although unmarked, we attribute the vase to the English glass firm of Stevens and Williams due to the similarity to signed and documented pieces.
The vase measures 9 1/2" in height. The top diameter is 3 1/2" and 3 1/4" at the base.
The vase is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
