Modern sterling silver cigar box. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Massachusetts, ca 1920. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged with molded rim; on top, cast figural finial of hound snuffling around, nose to the ground. Interior gilt with detachable partitioned tray. Fully marked including maker's stamp and no. 88.
