The Star Sapphire Corps is one of the ten Lantern Corps that draw power from the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum. Star Sapphire power rings are charged by the emotion "love." Their home is the planet Zamaron, and before the creation of their Lantern Corps, the Zamarons (female counterpart to the Guardians) would sometimes empower one woman as Star Sapphire to battle Green Lantern. Their greatest champion is Carol Ferris, the original Star Sapphire. When designing this ring, we looked at as many images from the comic appearances as we could find. We tried to stick closely to the look in the comics while still adding some nuances that made it look like it might be a construct of the real world. We pride ourselves on doing quality work that exceeds discerning collectors' expectations. For that reason, the ring was designed to look great on display but is also excellently suited for Cosplay. 

The construction was made to be durable, but since it is plastic, it is always a good rule to treat it with some care to avoid accidental breakage.
