These devices were initially installed in a newly completed school building, then immediately removed after FA system first commissioned because the center of the strobe lens was installed on the wall such that the center of the strobe lens was slightly below the legally required 80" minimum above finished floor. These devices were replaced by similar Siemens devices which had the strobe light centered on the face of the notification appliance cover (vs. bottom, putting the strobe lens 3" higher to satisfy the fire marshal), which allowed the in-wall FA system rough in and recessed mounted backbox to remain as installed in the drywall. Consequently, the devices are all basically new and tested, but have some signs of drywall paint touch-up on the back of the device. See pictures with this listing.
