This listing is for a custom made mounting system for displaying your 1999 Star Wars: Episode I Electronic Naboo Royal Starship Blockade Cruiser Playset on your wall. This is for the wall mount only - no ship or figures seen in the pics are provided. This is the BIG one.
I include an easy to use self tapping screw-in drywall anchor and screw with each bracket. You can install this mount with just a screwdriver, but I recommend a drill for installing the drywall anchor.
This is a low profile upward flying only mount. You could technically probably get it to angle a bit by adding some screws to support the rear landing gear spacers, but with what I provide, it can only fly up.
To install:
Remove the landing gear. If you have the throne chair remove that too. Store someplace safe.
Install the wall block to the wall with the included screw/anchor. The screw is towards the top, the conical protrusion to the bottom. Do NOT over tighten - leave loose enough that the block can swivel with just a little effort.
Press the rear landing gear spacers into place. Any direction is fine - they can rotate if needed if it helps with unevenness in your wall.
Place the ship on the wall block. It really will only fit in one way.
Install the locking cup over/through the landing gear hole. Do NOT over tighten - leave loose enough that the ship can still swivel.
I provide 4 adhesive pads. Use them to fasten the hatches closed, otherwise they WILL open or not sit quite right. Feel free to use alternatives - this was the best I could come up with! I find the placement shown in the pictures works very well, and they are as you see in the pictures. They blend in pretty well. I do not have the "blow off" panel, so I include 4 to cover the 2 spots shown, and extras in case they are needed for that panel - or in case you ruin one (they are pretty much a one use item). I have used these adhesive pads on a number of ships, and have not had an issue with them harming them or removing any paint on removal - but use any type of adhesive at your own risk depending on the condition of your ship.
