My method of measuring: Bust - from under arm to under arm then doubled. Sleeve-Length - from top of sleeve at shoulder-seam (or edge of shoulder pad) to tip of cuff. Length of a top or dress - from shoulder seam to hem (unless it has no sleeves or spaghetti straps). Waist - side to side, then doubled. Hips- from side to side at widest part of hip, then doubled. Rise - from waistband in front to 4-way seam at crotch. Inseam - from the 4-way or X seam at the crotch to bottom of pantleg.
Why my listings say "approximate measurements" Please understand that I purchase more than one of each item if available, and only measure the 1st one of each manufacturer in each size, so there could be a slight difference. It's rare - but occasionally, one size 6 is a little longer, or 1/4" off than another size 6. Email me to double check if there is any question.
