Listing is for one (1) 1970s Pewter 41st IEC Congress Commemorative Medallion-RARE. In 1976 the 41st International Eucharistic Congress was held in Philadelphia in August, that year being the 200th anniversary of independence for the United States. The Theme was Jesus, the bread of life. John Cardinal Krol was Archbishop. The mass held at Municipal (J.F. Kennedy) Stadium was attended by U.S. president Gerald R. Ford. This beautiful vintage medallion was given to those in attendance.  Another item from my Fabulous Estate Sale Finds and part of thousands of Hard To Find Mid Century Modern old new stock acquired from inventory liquidation of an old variety store warehouse closed over 40 years ago. Item itself is new however it or its Packaging may have dust, oxidation, soil, tear, or other imperfection.
