Boys Of Summer Tour- I Killed The Prom Queen & Misery Signals (USA) with very special guests Spitalfield (USA) & The Getaway Plan
Official Bands Issued Tour Itinerary Booklet & Tour Pass (AAA- Access All Areas)
The Boys Of Summer Tour was something that was put together by the booking agency group at Destroy All Lines. The tour brought together some of their signed bands along with a couple of international acts.
That brought together Australian Metalcore giants I Killed The Prom Queen and Metalcore godfather Misery Signals (USA). This was a perfect combination given on one hand you had the biggest heavy band in the country and on the other, you had a band which some would say (including me) that had created one of the genre's original masterpieces when they released 'Of Malice And The Magnum Heart' in June 2004.
Along for the ride on this tour was Spitalfield (USA) personally selected by IKTPQ who brought their mix of rock music on the back of their latest album release 'Remember Right Now' via Victory Records.
Melbourne's very own Alt-rock lads The Getaway Plan would be the second Australian act on this tour, the band was running hot on the back of their latest EP 'Hold Conversation' and relentless touring. They would eventually go on to release at the time, one of the biggest rock albums in the country with 'Other Voices Other Rooms'
This was an incredible experience for me working on this tour as not only had I been lucky enough to tour previously alongside Prom Queen but I was a huge Misery Signals fan. I was also already a fan of Spitalfield also, so this was safe to say, complete heaven.
