Easy to install... the instruction manual describes in detail how to install -- the unit is completely portable and easily changes between vehicles... plugs into your lighter (if your lighter turns off when the cars is off you can either rewire the unit(instructions provided) or power via the backup 9 volt battery. It's no secret that a car thief prefers to choose an easy target. Cars that do not have any form of vehicle security are much easier targets than cars that have either an alarm or immobilizer installed.
