“Once upon a time…” The Montblanc Writers Edition Hommage aux frères Grimm fountain pen is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and pays tribute to their work in collecting German and European folklore, including famous fairy tales such as Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. The fountain pen is shaped like an antique hiking stick. Crafted from metal with a special vintage coating, this edition is inspired by the story of Sleeping Beauty, represented by the leaves and thorns wrapped around the cap and barrel. The cap is adorned with the Montblanc emblem in precious mother-of-pearl. The platinum-plated clip, shaped like a piece of gnarled wood, surprisingly pivots to reveal the profiles of the Brothers Grimm. In homage to the magic of storytelling, the nib, hand-crafted in rhodium-plated 18K gold, is engraved with flames reminiscent of the fires around which folklore stories were passed down.
