1950s JUDEX Mens Military Style Watch Mechanical Cal 124 Spider Lugs France

Item is "Used" but in Very Good Condition considering its age. Signs of wear should be expected

A nicely presented 1950s JUDEX Military Style Mens Watch that measures approx 34mm excluding the crown. JUDEX were a French Watchmaking company that existed between 1914-1953.

The watch is in working condition and keeps time to within a minute per day. The watch has not been professionally tested for time keeping. Service history unknown so would recommend a service/clean to further improve accuracy

A brass case with silver plating that does have some wear. Stunning fancy lugs aka "Spider Lugs". Large crown that winds beautifully and sets the time as it should. I believe it still has the original acrylic crystal that has turned slightly yellow. I would recommend replacing.

Nice clean dial. It looks creamy under that crystal, but suspect it is likely silver. Gilt Arabic Numeral hour markers and hour/minute hands. The Red Seconds hand and 'Anti-Magnetic' at 6 is a welcome touch.

Powered by calibre Judex 124 Mechanical, Manual wind movement with 17 Jewels. From brief research it is made by French movement makers "Sefea".
