This appears to be an interior car door handle.

It could be from the 1930s, pos 1940s, or even 1950s.

It appears to be diecast and is not magnetic. It could be an aluminium alloy or any number of similar lead alloys... no idea really. 

It matches a window winder on ebay USA that says it could possibly be Opel Captain (kapitan), but i looked inside one of these on Google and the handle is different, so whilst it matches that ad, this ad-info doesn't really help.

I can sort of see some grey paint on it, but I dunno if that was original... looks like it, but....
