Frequency unit selector (A/C)

A-weighted frequency is the amount of noise perceived by the human ear. C-weighting is a characteristic of mechanical noise.

Overload display

The sound decibel meter has five ranges to choose from: overload indicator, OVER warning sign (reading exceeds the maximum dB measured value), UNDER warning sign (reading exceeds the minimum dB measured value).

Easy to read

The digital sound level meter is equipped with a backlight function, an analogue bar and a large display so you can take clear measurements at all times.

Data that can be analysed

The AC and DC analogue signal outputs can be connected to a frequency analyser or X-Y axis recorder for statistical data analysis.

AC output terminal: 0707 V RMS corresponds to each range step.

DC output terminal: 10mv / DB output

Time-weighted selector switch

If the sound is changing rapidly and you want to measure the peak of the sound in decibels, use the fast setting. If the sound is in a slow phase of change and you want to measure the average decibels of the sound, use the slow setting.

Portable Design

The sound level meter has threaded holes at the back to attach it to the stand and free up your hands (stand not included). It also comes with a carrying case to transport the sound level meter safely and prevent it from being dropped or damaged.

Power supply

This sound level meter can be powered by a 9V battery or an external 9V DC power supply.
