The Getaway Plan 2005 David Ho "Rebirth" T-Shirt *Rare Tool Artist Merch* Small

Extremely rare vintage The Getaway Plan shirt from the 2005/2006 era. This design features the "Rebirth" piece by world-renowned US digital surrealist David Ho, famous for his iconic artwork for the band Tool ("The Patient").

•Design: Intricate "busy" artwork featuring a human figure entwined in mechanical/organic textures.

•Branding: "THE GETAWAY PLAN" in bold, heavy block lettering.

•Condition: Collected from the first press that arrived from screen printing to be used on your.

•Garment: Original 2006-era baby blue blank. A piece of Australian post-hardcore history.

At the time, most Australian bands were using "vector" art (flat, clean lines). By using David Ho, The Getaway Plan was one of the first in the scene to use high-resolution digital surrealism. This gave their merch a "gallery" feel rather than just a "band shirt" feel.

The Getaway Plan formed in 2004. After a couple of different designs released for their early shows in the early days, this set of 3 designs were then used for the band's first serious release of band tshirts.

These designs have a Salvador Dali vibe to them and were designed by an American designer, well known for doing band merchandise.

Extremely early and rare merchandise from the early days of the bands existence.

Put into my collection early and has never been worn.
