Black Lanterns are reanimated corpses controlled by Black Power Rings, which tap into the emotional spectrum of death. They are primarily antagonists, seeking to bring about the end of life in the DC Universe by feeding on the emotions of the living and harnessing their power to fuel the Black Power Battery. 

When designing this ring, we looked at as many images from the comic appearances as we could find. We tried to stick closely to the look in the comics while still adding some nuances that made it look like it might be a construct of the real world. Although the purple color varies from appearance to appearance, we tried to find a happy medium. We pride ourselves on doing quality work that exceeds discerning collectors' expectations. For that reason, the ring was designed to look great on display but is also excellently suited for Cosplay. 

The construction was made to be durable, but since it is plastic, it is always a good rule to treat it with some care to avoid accidental breakage.
