ENGINE WARRANTY

Warranty will cover all internal parts, including the crankshaft, block, head, and valve train.

Engine accessories such water pump, injection system, exhaust, chain, coils, thermostats, flywheel, induction system, etc. are not covered under warranty. A standard warranty period of 90 days applies to parts only. Extended warranty is available upon request.

Vehicles used in fleet services, such as taxi or limo services (Uber included), come with a 30-day warranty on parts only.

Leaks from external gaskets and seals are not covered under warranty. Ensure that all external seals are replaced prior to installation (e.g., rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket).

Claims resulting from overheating, accidents, abuse, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance or improper installation will not be honoured. All engines supplied are fitted with a unique T & H Wreckers heat tab. In the event of a warranty claim, the customer will be asked to provide evidence that the heat tab is intact and not melted. The melting point of the heat tab is 127 degrees Celsius; if the heat tab is removed or melted, the warranty will be voided.

The warranty is valid only if installed by a certified workshop or technician. Parts returned under warranty must be complete as sold; the warranty is void if parts are altered, dismantled, or tampered with by anyone not authorized by T & H Wreckers.

Parts fitted to vehicles used in racing or other competitive activities, or for extreme off-road purposes, will not be covered under warranty.

If T & H Wreckers denies a warranty claim due to the purchaser’s contribution to the failure, T & H Wreckers reserves the right to recover out-of-pocket expenses incurred in reviewing the claim, including freight or dismantling and inspection costs. The purchaser will be responsible for these expenses.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser named on the invoice. The warranty is non-transferable and may only be used by the original buyer whose name appears on the invoice. The effective date of the warranty is from the date of purchase and not from the date of installation. Please ensure that all documentation related to parts installed is recorded to validate the warranty.

TRANSMISSION WARRANTY

A standard warranty period of 90 days applies to parts only.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to replace the radiator and/or transmission oil cooler, flush the transmission oil cooling lines, fill the differential, adjust shifter mechanisms, replace filters, replace seals, replace pan gaskets, and reset or replace computer codes when installing a transmission.

Claims resulting from accidents, abuse, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance or improper installation will not be honoured.

Transmissions, differentials, and final drive components that have broken gears or have been subject to accidents, abuse, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance or improper installation will not be honoured.

The part must be checked before fitting, as T & H Wreckers will not be liable for labour costs related to removal.

Parts returned under warranty must be complete as sold; the warranty is void if parts are altered, dismantled, or tampered with by someone not authorized by T & H Wreckers.

ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WARRANTY

A 14-day warranty on electronic parts applies from the invoice date and does not cover items sold for testing purposes.

All electrical items will only be replaced; no refunds will be given.

RETURNS

• No refunds available; only credit notes with the original invoice will be issued if returns are made within 14 days of the invoice date. Parts that are special orders requested by the customer are non-refundable. Returned parts must be clean, original and in same condition and/or packaging as sold.
• Cut vehicle body sections or incorrectly ordered parts will not be accepted for credit. Requests for credit will be denied if the customer changes their mind.
