These are two W.H. Tatler Decorating Company hand painted plates. One being of Lenox China Company and the other a blank from an unknown origin. They are quite similar in color with a slightly different hue in the plate color. The design is the same however, yet again with a slight variation in hue especially noted in the magnolia flower. They are free from utensil marks, chips, nicks, and all other words used to describe blemishes. The gold rim embellishment is heavy and without flaw. They have never been used, because they have been stored away for years, and the only 2 plates in common. They are gorgeous. 

So that you can identify each plate easily, I used a dinner knife to identify the dinner plate, and a fork to identify the salad plate. Please examine the photos to appreciate the brush strokes, hand painted signature of who I believe to be Bill Tunney, and the designer signature on the back of the dinner plate. I will take extra caution in packing and ship these plates insured.
