1. What Gastrotuss® Baby is and what it is used for

Gastrotuss® Baby is a mechanically acting medical device intended for use in infants and children with gastroesophageal and/or laryngoesophageal reflux disease to reduce associated symptoms such as acid or alkaline regurgitation, heartburn, a feeling of a lump or foreign body in the throat, inflammation of the nose, throat and larynx, belching, bloating, cough, dysphonia (voice disorder) and all other disorders if gastroesophageal and/or laryngoesophageal reflux is the main or additional cause. Gastrotuss® Baby is used as an additional measure during the regeneration of the epithelium of the gastrointestinal tract and esophagus and/or larynx and throat mucosa.

Gastrotuss® Baby reduces the time the contents remain in the stomach.

2. What you need to know before you use Gastrotuss® Baby

• Gastrotuss® Baby should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the product (listed in section 6).

• Consult your doctor before using Gastrotuss® Baby if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

• The product may be more or less viscous and/or may change colour slightly, but this does not have any negative effect on the quality.

3. How to use Gastrotuss® Baby

Shake well before use.

For babies weighing less than 5 kilograms: 2.5-3 ml dose is taken 5-10 minutes after feeding or at another time if prescribed by the doctor. If the product is regurgitated after drinking, an additional 1 ml dose should be taken.

For babies up to 3 years: 5 ml dose is taken after main meals and before bedtime or at another time if prescribed by the doctor.

Children under 12 years: 10-20 ml dose is taken after main meals and before bedtime or at other times if prescribed by a doctor.

Precautions

· In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

· Do not exceed the recommended dose, follow the instructions for use.

· Gastrotuss® Baby is recommended to be taken at least 1 hour before or after taking any medications.

· Do not use this product if the original packaging appears damaged or there is evidence of tampering (for example, if it is taped over). Tampering and/or damage to the packaging may compromise the safety of the product.

· Do not use the product after the date stated on the packaging.

· The expiry date is valid if the product is in an undamaged packaging and stored properly.

How to store GASTROTUSS® Baby

· Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

· Close the bottle tightly with the cap immediately after use.

· Do not store above 30 °C.

Ingredients: magnesium alginate, simethicone, fructose, xanthan gum, D-panthenol, sodium bicarbonate, sodium hydroxide, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, natural flavors, purified water.

Returns
