BEAUTIFUL VASE. 7 inches tall. 4 inches wide. 2 inch opening at mouth. The process used to created this glass bead infused over painted areas was first patented in Germany in 1883, then later patented by an American living in Japan in 1909 to be exported to the United States. This vase has a wonderful fading effect from aqua blue to chartreuse with a yellow band that is a background for pink roses, graced with gold accents. There is a slight blemish where a miniscule piece of porcelain came off and along with it the gold accent which could be easily restored. Also there is a "dirty" spot which may or may not be able to be removed. See pictures.
