For Sale is a ONE FAMILY OWNED Elgin American Musical Compact with original boxes, It was given to my grandmother by my grandfather in the 1950's and the top is decorated with etched cupid, hearts, and I love you in several languages.  The music box does not work. The crank is marked Swiss Made.  It is also missing the mute button for use when you don't want the compact music box to play.  The compact was never used, and has never had powder. Also included is the original booklet and both the original purse box and gift box, marked Elgin American.  It appears to have never been used, and the compact has no scratches.  It could very well have been a grandchild, but not me, LOL, who wound the music box too tight, and lost the mute button.  The outer box has shelf wear but is intact. The compact and boxes are sold together and as is.  Please see photographs.
