Up for sale is a vintage Bulova Accutron Model 2181 tuning fork watch, with date, in excellent working condition.  The watch was made in 1974 and has a gold-filled case with leather band. There a minor scratches on the case.

The dial has post hour markers, with Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, & 9 o'clock positions. The hands are gold with white accents. The date has black numerals on silver background, and it changes automatically at midnight. The watch keeps excellent time. The watch band is maroon-color genuine leather, with gold-plated clasp.

The case back is inscribed with an employee tribute, as the watch was given as a seniority or retirement award in 1974.

The watch is signed twice on the dial, once on the crown, and once on the band clasp.

When introduced in the early 1960s, Bulova Accutron incorporated ground-breaking new technology, introducing an electronically-controlled tuning fork driving conventional mechanical gears.  This configuration made it possible to maintain a high degree of accuracy and reliability, as compared with the typical watch of the day.
