O'Reilly transferred to Providence College as a grad student-athlete and helped the Friars reach the NCAA Tournament in March 2025. ASU wore these special black and camo green CCM helmets twice in 2021 and two more times in 2022. The military inspired helmets pay tribute to former ASU football star Pat Tillman, who left the NFL's Arizona Cardinals in 2001 to serve with the Army Rangers and died in Afghanistan in 2004. O'Reilly's helmet is CCM HT Tacks 710 model with a clear bubble face shield that most of the Sun Devils wore for the games instead of black cages. ASU also wore special jerseys, gloves and socks when they played Bemidji State on Nov. 24 and 26 in 2021 and faced Alaska-Anchorage on Nov. 11 and 12, 2022.
