Cartier Basculante Ref. W1011258 Steel 24 mm Quartz 2000s

A preowned Cartier Basculante reference W1011258 in stainless steel, crafted during the 2000s. An interesting design modeled as a classic Tank with an added feature in the case reversible within its swinging frame, designed for the wearer to protect the dial. When worn dial faced down, a simple brushed-finish case is displayed with the crown located 6:00 (it moves with the case) while the blue cabochon remains fixed on the bezel. The lifted frame reveals the inner case back entirely engraved with double CC logos. Contains the standard Cartier white dial, black Roman numeral hour indices with secret Cartier logo at 7:00, blued-steeled sword-shaped hands and inner minute track. Powered by a quartz movement. Fitted with a French-made kidskin opalescent lavender purple strap and a choice of pink, blue and green pastels, and its Cartier steel tang buckle. This is not your ordinary Tank, its reversible mechanism is quite smooth and serves as a conversational piece.
