"The Last 25 Years" remembers an unforgettable Santa Cruz, California landmark musical experience. The Cooperhouse... the Capitola Wharf -- made magical by the legendary Jazz/Fusion/Latin band "Warmth" under the leadership of vibes man Don McCaslin.  Saxophonist Donny McCaslin appears on the later, 1996 cuts.

Warmth was the heartbeat of downtown Santa Cruz for almost 20 years, playing outoors daily at the Cooperhouse, creating a magical atmosphere than helped make Sana Cruz extraordinary.

As some will know, the landmark 1894 "Cooperhouse" building downtown was destroyed in the days following the Loma Prieta Earthquake in 1989 -- the end of an era.  EVEN SO:  At the time of this release, Warmth was still keeping the beat at the Cooper Street cafe and the Municipal Wharf in Santa Cruz.

"The First 25 Years" includes selections from four Warmth albums plus 3 new songs, and an excerpt from the Be-Bop drama "The Naz".
