A set of decals to convert 1:48 F14 Tomcats to full “Top Movie” livery of the iconic aircraft from the 1986 movie:

Decals include:

  • Tail fin squadron markings in various sizes
  • Aircraft numbers
  • Pilot & RIO cockpit names and call signs in various sizes and colour densities
  • Helmet decals for in various sizes
  • Spare US Navy insignia in various sizes and colour tones
  • Carrier names
  • Spare cockpit instrumentation
  • Fighter Weapon School logos in various sizes
  • "3 MiGs" kill markings in various sizes

The pictures show how a Hasegawa (Low Visibility) kit may be built and finished with these decals, but they can be used with any 1:48 scale kit.

The decals are printed on high grade clear water slide decal paper. They are produced as an entire sheet and the individual decals are not separate on the transparent layer. The transparent sheet is very thin and conforms well to model contours, although a decal setting solution is still recommended.
