This is a brand new unprogrammed LAS (Lid Angle Sensor) sleep sensor cable for the Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch models listed below.
The LAS cable is responsible for detecting lid open/close status, enabling sleep and wake functionality.
⚠️ Important: This cable must be programmed before it can function properly. It will not work out of the box unless programmed using the appropriate tool.
You can now upgrade using Tahoe operating system. It will require that you run through the steps in the diagnostics of system preferences and you will need to follow the steps to program the unit.
