This piece was made in 1898 and is an excellent condition! All of the pieces are free of chips and cracks and flea bites with the exception of the flute at the top with chipping the end. These are super rare with only a couple hitting the market over the last 30 years. A similar one was photographed belonging to the glass legend and Photographer, Dave Peterson, and on the front cover of the Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass 7th Edition by Mike Carwile 2011.

This is part of our personal collection, but available for purchase. The price reflects the rarity and desirability to keep this with estimated values of $3500 in the book from 2011. Obviously these are worth a lot more today, so this would be a rare moment to buy an extremely rare piece that is usually reserved for museums.

Overall measures about 20 inches tall and about 16 inches wide and approximately 16 inches deep. It appears to have a slight lean to the left, which could be adjusted possibly with the feet. I usually don’t mess with anything or polish anything so this is the same condition as it arrived to me. The piece on the lower right appears to be a little taller at an angle again probably could be adjusted, but I don’t see the sense in making any adjustments to something so rare and risk messing with it. I try to disclose everything I can because pictures really don’t show the condition very well. Because this piece is from the 1800s, I would personally consider this im excellent condition overall.
