Who's ready for Spring? This girl!
Meet Tulip and her pet duck, Ducky. (Clever name, huh?) This is one of Bearington's most beautiful bunnies ever. She's wearing her prettiest pale yellow cotton dress and matching velvet hat with Spring flowers but I think it's the baby blue ribbon that ties the whole look together, don't you? Ducky is dressed in, well, feathers, I suppose, plus a smart-looking blue ribbon of his own. Tulip carries him everywhere in her white straw basket, mostly because he doesn't like to get his feet wet. They enjoy reading mystery novels, playing Scrabble and picnics with friends. Tulip loves to share her favorite food - mint chocolate chip ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. (Ducky's favorites are french fries topped with fresh grass and artisinal breads, in case you're taking notes.) Are you searching for a fun-loving duo that's up for whatever adventure you can dream up? Look no further than this sweet bunny and duck!
This genuine and genuinely-adorable Bearington bunny and duck are from my own collection of 59 Boyds and Bearingtons. And yes, I'm an adult, i.e., they are all collectibles and weren't owned by children. I fell in love with every one of the bunnies, bears, frogs, cats, dogs, snowpeople, unicorns, etc. in my vast collection but I need to downsize so I'm on a mission to find new homes for all of them where they'll get the love and attention they deserve. All of my creatures are genuine and tagged. They come from a smoke-free home. All are in excellent condition, except where I've pointed out in the descriptions and photographs - no surprises.
I don't buy to re-sell. Everything I have listed here on Ebay has belonged to me or my family. I know the histories of the items and am passionate about each one. I hope you'll check out my other listings. I have many more treasures from my mother's and my grandmother's estates coming, including jewelry, linens, crystal, silver, china, glassware and some fun, kitschy items from the 1930's to the 1960's.
