• Infrared illuminators are designed to operate with "Day/Night" surveillance cameras in low (or no) light conditions. Please make sure your camera has Night Mode and is able to operate with 850nm infrared light before use. Distance–Up to 700ft means distance for 2MP 1/3" camera with “Slow Shutter” mode ON and digital image enhancement modes (so-called DSS AGC, DWDR, DNR, 3DNR etc.) enable. With “Slow Shutter” mode OFF and digital image enhancement modes disable distance is 260ft. The beam light of illuminator is INVISIBLE to naked eyes but gives a red glow of the LEDs. Built-in light sensor allows the illuminator automatically switch ON and OFF according to the light conditions. It helps to save energy and prolongs service life of the illuminator. Infrared illuminators do not harm people and pets, but you should not look directly at a switched on light for a long time to avoid unpleasant sensations in your eyes.
