An original, authentic, vintage South African mahogany hand-crafted sculpture. This is a solid wood panel intricately carved out of one piece with a pointed end on one side. It depicts some of the Big Five African animals decorated with trees.

A fine example of traditional African sculpture, it also has a carved candle holder in the middle on top. This is a spectacular very long, wide and solid piece of mahogany. It is very heavy.

This is ultimately a stunning piece of art, a statement piece. It could be hung on the wall with professional help, placed on top of a sturdy piece of furniture or placed on placed on a wooden floor in an advantageous position. Whoever carved it was a fine craftsperson.

In very good vintage condition. It has not been polished or attempted to be improved in any way.
