This is a vintage 100% wool heavy hand knit sweater in size medium made by Ralph Lauren Country, the high end line of vintage Ralph Lauren.

This sweater is called the fire pattern because of its deep orange, red, yellow (and green) coloring in native American Aztec patterns. The colors are just as deep and vibrant as they appear in the picture. The knit is thick with no holes or pilling and is spotlessly clean.

This sweater has a double set of buttons, (with one missing), 2 front patch pockets, and roll up sleeves. As is sometimes seen with these vintage hand knit sweaters, there are two small areas, about 3 stitches in size, with irregular stitching at the right shoulder. This is shown in the close up picture. This sweater is very rare and is hardly ever seen on eBay.

Measurements: Shoulders 21”, chest 44”, sleeves 22”, 29.5” from the back of the neck to the bottom.
