Offered for sale are 12 Marklin German HO Train Figures- consisting of 5 Composition material Workers and 7 Metal Yard Signs, all in very clean shape from a 1940's Marklin collection.
The Train Workers: railroad policeman, man with signal, porter, brochure seller and a vendor. Yard signs show: Speed Limit 40mph, to Parking, S Curve, No Left Turn, RR Crossing, END Measured Mile and BEGIN Measured Mile.
There are no maker markings on these figures or signs, but I know they came from a 1940s collection and such composition figures would be appropriate from this mid 1940's era. Metal yard signs were also produced at that time period. Still, these figures are seldom seen in such clean shape.
Both the Signs and workers look in excellent shape with no wear or paint runs noted. These figures came from a Vet that purchased them in country while stationed in Germany during the Berlin Airlift. The vet and later his so took great care of these train items.
Shipping-will ship with care, in a sturdy box with foam padding, via cheapest way usps Ground or priority mail. Ship weight boxed is about 1 lb.
