Bike Radar Review (2009):
The best Kranked film yet!
Bjorn Enga’s much-anticipated production is the eighth film in the Kranked series, and the best production to date.
Travelling all over the world for the best footage, Kranked 8 takes you to South Africa, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Canada and the USA for some truly mind-blowing riding. Great production, excellent filming, clean editing and neat trickery make this flick visually entertaining, and the content is more varied than ever before. Bobby McMullen, the blind downhill racer, steals the show with some rad filming showing what he sees – or doesn’t see. The Coastal Crew and their incredible trail riding with enormous stunts is ace. Rene Wildhaber takes us through his latest win at the Megavalanche race in France, in a super human display of riding skill, tactics and supreme fitness. He’s a man machine. As with the rest of the Kranked series, there is the trademark odd intro. Some call it quirky, some call it imaginative. We call it whack.
