I just purchased this SET of twelve (12) antique Victorian porcelain dessert or fruit bowls at a local estate here in Central Virginia.  The bowls were produced at the Altwasser Germany factory started by Carl Tielsch in 1845 and bear the C.T. blue eagle mark used between 1875-1936.  Products from the Altwasser factory were known for high quality and artistic design.  These bowls feature scalloped edge with gold filagree trim, crisp white ground with hand painted roses.  The bowls measure 5 3/4" in diameter and all are in excellent condition.  A beautiful set to add to any collection of fine antique porcelain.
