This is an original Antique Porcelain Blue White Bowl from China produced during the Ming Dynasty.  This type of porcelain was produced in China principally for export to the large number of Chinese Communities scattered through Southeast Asia and is sometimes called Chinese Trade Pottery.  The bowl dates from the 17th Century and was purchased by my father & myself in Penang, Malaysia during the period he owned an Asian antique shop on the island in the 1970's to early 1980's.  Please note the Chinese script on the bottom of the Bowl.  He only purchased from reputable local dealers who sourced their inventory from locals living on the island.  Please review the pictures thoroughly in regards to the overall quality of this item and make particular reference to my Condition Description above & below:

Condition Description:  The Bowl is in Fine Condition Overall.  Please note there a 3 kiln marks on both the inside & outside of the bowl.  There are a number of cracks on the rim of the base as well as some slight wear to the top of the rim of the bowl .  Please review all provided pictures.
