The Granite Cricket Bell has a classic clapper bell appearance and a simple, but effective design and mechanism for the majority of situations. Better yet, it features the most ideal two modes of sounding - single-strike mode and cowbell mode. For everyday riders the single-strike mode is just excellent with its crystal-clear tone and impressively loud volume to make your presence known. When pulling down the dome to cowbell mode, the motion of the bike activates the sound, and it really does a great job audibly communicating to other trail users and keeping the vibe positive with the passive sound.
In terms of durability it’s well qualified indeed - The dome and its internal clapper are crafted from high quality brass/zinc alloy with a machined aluminium striker - It comes in excellent performance of resistance to all weather and terrain.
Another feature of it is the quick access for installation. There’s only one screw that needs your attention, tightening it down then you get on the go. In the meantime, the secure O-ring can be firmly positioned either on the left or right of your bars within easy reach of your hands. In addition, depending on your cycling habits, your needs may change. So being flexible is quite a thing. It comes with two extra spacers that fits bars from 22.2mm all the way up to 35mm in diameter, giving you alternative options moving it to another bikes.
