How To Use

 

  • Step 1: Fill proper test oil into the detector
  • Step 2: Disconnect these pipes that need to be connected with detector
  • Step 3: Connect detector with DC 12V battery
  • Step 4: After pipe filled with smoke, check leaks by the changes of pressure gauge changes

 

NOTES: Both mineral oil and baby oil are OK, oil is not included.

Warm Notes:

 

  1. - In first time use, please fill with 10ml test liquid into the car smoke leak detector. Both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK, but please NOT to beyond this range of 10ml.
  2. - Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the oil left in the detector. The fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, can’t be filled over 20ml each time.
  3. - During the process of leak detection, must keep away from smoke-sensitive parts. Please be careful with the round part of the leak detector with high temperature to avoid burns hurt.
  4. - Do NOT use the leak detector over 8 minutes continuously. Once the high temperature protection mechanism triggered, please make it interval rest and operate later.

 

About Maintenance:

With longtime high temperature work, the smoke and oil will oxidize and deteriorate. It will infect the service life of smoke generated part, so please change smoke and oil regularly.

 

  • Before filling new oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the detector
  • When the smoke output has water drops, please replace with new oil
  • Liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK. Please fill new oil with equipped oil bottom
