The design process:

Once we receive your pictures we start work on your design and aim to send out a email preview within 1-2 days. You receive two files the first is a virtual canvas created to scale of the size you ordered and the second is the design with a grid over the top. This grid serves two purposes, the first is each square represents 1" this is to give an idea of individual picture sizes. The second it easily allows us to pinpoint any picture which requires attention in the initial design.

We work with you on the design until you are completely happy with the way your canvas will look before creating the finished product.

   We do not use designs with large white gaps or photos covered An example of our design, white gaps are minimised and the subject of each picture is visible. The design is created by hand to give us full control with the final look. Your design includes a scale 1" grid to show individual picture size and make it easy to identify any picture when changes are required A different style to the heart canvas. We use three layers of protection, bubble wrap, corrugated cardboard and brown kraft paper clearly marked with fragile tape.

What makes your heart canvas stand out from others on the market?

There are plenty of programs available to create heart shapes from photos which produce nice results. The difference with ours is each picture is individually placed in the design to first of all make sure the subject of the picture is not covered by another picture. Secondly we minimise the amount of white gaps giving a truly professional result. We do not ask you to tick a disclaimer to agree that some of your pictures may not be visible, we work with you emailing out designs and making changes to suit your requirements and only when you are completely happy with the design is it sent for print.

How long does my canvas take?

Typically you will receive a design in 24 hours of sending your pictures to us. Once the design is approved it typically take a further 24 hours to dispatch. Postage usually takes 2-3 working days. Depending on the number of design revisions required this can add extra time but we aim to complete every order as soon as possible. Our priority is quality of product.

Can I send pictures from a tablet or phone

Yes over half of the pictures we receive come from phones or tablet computers. Because of the vast amount of different makes and models we would recommend you try to upload first before placing an order

Can I use old photographs?

Yes, as long as you have a digital picture we can use it. Jpegs are preferable especially when transferring pictures to us

How many pictures can I use on a heart collage?

The heart design is very flexible and individual picture sizes are adjusted to fit your chosen canvas size. A minimum of 30 pictures are required to make a heart shape, after this the shape gets more detailed as the individual pictures get smaller. Click here for some examples

Can I use pictures taken from a phone

Yes virtually all modern phone cameras produce suitable pictures to be printed on to canvas. If you are unsure send us a sample.

Can I use pictures taken from facebook

Yes because the individual pictures are quite small they are suitable to use on a heart canvas.

Do you reject pictures or just print anything?

Each picture is a personal or special moment to you we do not see it our place to comment. It may not be the perfect professional picture but the meaning may be priceless to you. For this reason we assume that if you have sent the picture it is important and so we will print it. Of course if you would like our opinion for example will it print too dark or too light just ask and we will be happy to help. Please remember if a picture is sent to us blurred it will print this way.
